Kevin Lee & Vijai Nathan
AMP & COMEDY ZONE PRESENT
Fusing comedy, magic, and juggling into a captivating and hilarious combination, Kevin Lee is an entertainer you don’t want to miss. Lee honed his comedy and magic skills as a street performer in Venice Beach, California, where he developed his act and cultivated a sense of quick timing and lively showmanship. He has twice been voted “Washington DC’s Funniest Comedian” by Washingtonian Magazine and has shared the stage with Chris Rock, Steve Harvey, and Chris Tucker. He has appeared on Showtime at the Apollo, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, Jamie Foxx’s Uptown Comedy Club, BET’s ComicView, and, most recently, NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Vijai Nathan, a contributor to The Washington Post’s Date Lab, is a native of Potomac, Maryland. Hailed as “one of the top two South Asian comics in the world to watch” by comedian Russell Peters, Nathan draws on her experiences growing up as an Indian American girl in the DC suburbs, from “raising two immigrant parents” and dating to pursuing the universal quest for love, understanding, and a good pair of undies. She’s performed worldwide, including at the Montreal International Comedy Festival and the Smirnoff International Comedy Festival and at local hotspots the Kennedy Center and DAR Constitution Hall.
