Craig Shoemaker & Jared Stern
AMP & COMEDY ZONE PRESENT
Over the past three decades, comedy polymath Craig Shoemaker has proven himself to be one of the funniest people in show business. With specials on Showtime, HBO, and Comedy Central, Shoemaker’s relatable and charismatic comedic style has earned plaudits from audiences and critics alike. Known for his distinctive stage character, “The Lovemaster,” which spawned both a 1997 feature film written by and starring Shoemaker and a best-selling book, LoveMaster’d, Shoemaker’s goal is to find and harness the unifying power of laughter. Along with stand-up and writing, Shoemaker is also a prolific actor with appearances on NBC’s Parks & Recreation, Scream 2, Safe House, and the cult comedy Totally Baked (which he also wrote).
Whether it's a crowd of 40, 400, or 4,000, DC-based comedian Jared Stern is making audiences laugh up and down the east coast and beyond. His mild-mannered style and sardonic observations are the cornerstones of his act. Some call his comedy “cerebral,” others “intestinal,” and still others attribute it to an overactive thyroid. Stern has worked with national headliners Jeff Ross, Louis CK, Richard Lewis, Bobby Slayton, Judah Friedlander, Gary Valentine, Todd Barry, Tony Woods, Mike Birbiglia, and Brett Leake.
