Maryland won the blues lottery when Billy Price moved to Baltimore after 50 years dominating the Pittsburgh blues scene. With his rich voice of buttery soul, Price first entered the national spotlight as a collaborator with guitarist Roy Buchanan. Price’s prolific solo career includes 16 releases and countless awards and honors, including recognition as a “Pittsburgh Rock ’n’ Roll Legend.” His album Reckoning has been nominated for a Blues Music Award, and his new album, Dog Eat Dog, was on Gulf Coast Records in August 2019.
